The Shireburn Arms is full of beautiful period features with breathtaking views, a stunning terrace and gorgeous gardens – creating sublime photo opportunities that are sure to inspire your photographer. After your celebrations are over you and your guests can retire to one of our fabulous bedrooms. Civil Ceremonies

The Shireburn Arms is fully licensed for civil ceremonies with our beautiful Ribble Room able to host up to 110 guests, and can even be adapted to accommodate smaller more intimate weddings. Outside, our south facing gardens and terrace provide a fantastic space to host a drinks reception after your ceremony.
At the Shireburn Arms our chefs are well known for incredible dishes that celebrate the very best in locally sourced produce to create incredible dishes just for you. Using our expertise and working closely with you, we can create the perfect collection of mouth-watering dishes for your day that will be served with impeccable service and attention to detail.
From the picture-perfect exterior and incredible views to the fascinating blend of period and contemporary décor the Shireburn Arms has no shortage of places to catch truly memorable and treasured wedding photos. Our stunning rural setting gives you the perfect backdrop for your big day, with our south facing terrace providing the focal point for your photographs with panoramic Ribble Valley views in the background.
The Shireburn Arms has 21 rooms, each individually designed and decorated, and just like the inn itself all are full of charm, character and warmth. Our finest suite is reserved for the happy couple, giving them sumptuous comfort and space to relax and unwind when their celebrations have ended.
Situated in Hurst Green on the edge of the Forest of Bowland the Shireburn Arms is at the start of the famous Tolkien Trail. Surrounded by magical countryside and breathtaking views of the Ribble Valley the Shireburn Arms is a beautiful retreat set against a fabulous natural backdrop. Standing in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Shireburn is nestled in a quiet and intimate village location which gives easy access from the M6 & A59.

All of our weddings are individually priced depending on the date and number of guests present at your wedding. For a quotation, please contact our Wedding Coordinators on the details listed above.
We have 21 bedrooms here at the Shireburn Arms
Due to our location and neighbouring properties we are unfortunately only allow silent fireworks. If you are wanting to have silent fireworks please discuss this with your coordinator as a donation needs to be made to the neighbouring farmer for use of his field – this donation is then made to Macmillan Nurses. We are also unable to accommodate Chinese lanterns being set off.
